Today for discovery we had a New Zealand Treasure theme where we discussed different famous New Zealanders and what they did and why they are a treasure to our country. We also looked at our native birds and local musicians. We created different types of art from these things. We made bird houses with ice block sticks, feather cloaks, painted and drew native birds and researched famous New Zealanders.
